Used this to replace the charcoal exhaust filter on my Frigidaire microwave. The piece of filter material will enable me to replace the filter several more times. Much more economical than buying the original Frigidaire part.

We have an odd shaped fan vent at the top of the older microwave, blowing up toward the kitchen ceiling. No sized filters available. Lower filters weren't doing the job, so grease was accumulating above. Yuch! This filter was perfect, since it could be cut to fit. Problem solved. Thanks for your fine product.

This microwave oven charcoal work out great for our fridgidaire professional microwave. Just cut what you need and you have plenty left for when you change the filter again.

Good product. If you have a microwave like mine, the intake filter under the microwave (above the stove) is simply metal mesh. However, there are two more filters above the microwave, behind a panel secured with screws, and these have charcoal behind the mesh. I was easily able to pry open the filter’s light metal box frame, replace the carbon, and pinch it back into place. Though the new carbon was twice as thick, it fit just fine. Still have enough carbon left over to do this 2 more times, if the frame hold up. Worth it considering the Maytag website sells these filters for $12 each. I wish this listing explained better how you can use their item but I figured it out.

I had a hard time finding a filter that fit my slim whirlpool over the range microwave. Some were too thick. Some required you to cut to fit. This place was perfect. Went in within 30 seconds.

I couldn't figure out why my kitchen kept filling with smoke when I used my stovetop grill. (Ha ha no jokes about smoke alarms and cooking timers). I looked at the 'filter' on my GE microwave oven hood and was shocked (even more when I discovered it was stock). The filter was a very open silver mesh with only a single layer. So basically my stove hood dispersed the smoke evenly throughout my condo. I cut this to size and sewed it onto the old filter. Worked great! 50-70% smoke reduction.
