It would be useful to know the CFM per square inch of this stuff. Great filter material but it doesn’t let thru enough air to not overheat the motor intakes of what I was trying to put a filter before. Just didn’t have enough info to make a truly informed decision, I’ll find another use for it.

Easy to use filter. Just cut to size and insert in mask. Even has instructions on which side to wear towards your face! Very good breathability. With 4ft of filter per roll, you have an ample supple supply of mask inserts. Will purchase again and highly recommended for protection against anything you may breathe in.

Initially, I was concerned because I placed the order and after a week, when I checked the website I saw it had not shipped. I contacted the company by email and they got back to me. They shipped out another roll because of the shipping delay free of charge. When I got the product and realize that it would not meet my needs, they were quick to process a refund. The filter paper helps give structure to the mask to keep the fabric away from the mouth, making the mask a little cooler and breathable.

I am loving this MERV 16 Filter Material with 95% filtration efficiency. It can filter particles down to .3 microns. This box includes a 16" x 48" sheet of 3-ply material that has the same filtration as an N95 mask...only, of course, cloth masks will fit differently. As a retired health professional, I know that N95 masks are fit-tested to the individual wearer. However, this is definitely a step up in boosting the effectiveness of personal masks. The nice thing about this roll of MERV 16 material is that it can be cut to whatever size you need for adults, children, and style of mask. It is also multipurpose and can be used in other applications beside mask filters. The outer layer of this material is rather stiff. It should face the outside of the mask. The outer layer is the layer that you see when you open the box. The inside layer is a little softer and more puckery (as can be seen in one of my photos). That part goes closest to your face. Often times the pre-made filters that can be purchased do not fit masks well as they should as they are too large or too small. Also, sometimes masks shrink in the laundering process. Having this filter material is great because it allows me to custom make the right size filter for my masks. I have different style masks and have made a template for the one that I wore today. I will be doing the same with my other masks also. Then, it is just a matter of cutting around the template for whichever mask I choose to wear. This filtration material cannot be laundered and should only be used one time, so I safely dispose of my filter after each use. Based on the size of my filters, I should be able to make around 70 filters from this one roll of filtration material. That is plenty to last me a long, long time as I am retired and only make a couple trips away from the house each week at this time. I really like being able to take charge of my own health by making the right size filters that I also know are the best quality that can be purchased. It is also comforting knowing that this MERV 16 filter material is made right here in the U.S.A. I would very highly recommend this material to anyone. I would give this product 10 stars if I could!

The best available filter for masks My wife uses it to construct face masks. It is excellent for this purpose. I have worn her masks made with this filter, and I can honestly say that my breathing was very good. It's not like open air, but it is very good. We have bought 4 rolls and are happy with our purchases.

Very Good for COVID-19 Protection Using it to line masks with pockets, as it is comparable to N95 fabric, not 100% projection without a seal to your face but better than other filters. I also line a paper bowl with the bottom cut out and sealed at the rim with self stick foam for an air tight seal mask for high traffic protection.

I'm using this to create extra filters for my daily wear face masks. Its MUCH cheaper than purchasing filters from the manufacturer. I'm also using this material (cutting it up) to create filters for my 3D printers. Is great quality and useful for any filtration project. Highly recommended.

This is a wonderful filter insert. I make masks by the dozen and this is a great addition to our production. It is easy to cut, and easy to put into the masks, and sews easily. This is a wonderful filter insert. This filter material does test to be Merv 16, which is excellent. This material is better than the vast majority of filters available.

Perfect for Facemasks! My son is returning to in-person school next week, so having the ability to have enough filters available is critical. And to be able to switch them out is also important. I like that I can cut the size to what I need for the individually sized face masks.

The flexibility of shaping this to my own mask is very important I'm going to use this material as a filter for my mask that I got from Amazon since it's supposed to be n95 it seems like a useful thing to do so I'm looking forward to doing it I can use it for a number of shapes of masks and I'm going to share it with my granddaughter who has significant medical needs so I was excited to find it so I could make sure she is a little more protection

Very breathable for long shifts! Breathable material. Used this as an alternative to buying expensive filters for my mask. Great for 12 hour shifts!

I use this material to use in my Broad Airpro filter, making it N95. I use this mask at work and have less to worry about now. I calculate that I can cut about 90 filters from one roll. It does slow down the air flow slightly.

When using Ultrasonic welder it is very picky about the size and shape of the horn. Inner and outer meltblown materials melt much faster than this material causing pinholes in surrounding layers. This material would work better for filtering DIY masks on a sewing machine.
